If you love a good story that begins with, "In March 2020 the momentous ground-breaking for the Portobello Building Cultural Life & Arts Center in Beaver Falls was thwarted by none other than a global pandemic . . . " then you will NOT want to miss the NEXT chapter in the story! Join us on Tuesday, December 6, from 4-7 PM at the new (to us) "Baby Bello", which will continue the original vision of The Portobello Cultural Life & Art Center through smaller-scale community programming opportunities such as lectures, meetings, music & more. PLUS, the building includes the new digs for our beloved Stray Cat Studio! Our "before" Open House, which will give guests the first glimpse of our new space still under renovation, will include: --seeing a 3D layout of the projected finished build-out --hearing directly from Stray Cat Studio staff members about the new production, member, classroom, and retail space --learning about opportunities to rent our community space for intimate cultural, educational, and civic gatherings --entering our gift drawing (with cash donation) --purchasing "stray" (seconds) pottery and T-shirts The Stray Cat team will be on-site to welcome you and answer questions! (Please dress warmly . . . as we're still under construction, it could be a tad chilly!)
